Linden is built around its trim. Both colorways are cut from a finely woven, lightly crinkled cotton and then edged with a deep gathered ruffle that runs around the duvet cover and frames each pillowcase, so the border does the decorating rather than a print.
The two colorways are genuinely different fabrics, not just different shades. Blue is the cottage one: a small blue-and-white gingham check finished with a wide ivory eyelet-lace ruffle, with a thin burgundy cord piped between the check and the lace, styled over a solid mid-blue sheet. Gray is quieter and more tailored — a narrow grey-and-cream pinstripe edged with a crinkled near-black ruffle, no lace and no contrast cord, over a deep charcoal sheet.

A little extra help

Going up a size gives a more relaxed, draped look. If you prefer a closer fit, stay with your exact mattress size.
